THE 44 PERFORMANCE PATHWAY
Helping Athletes Grow in Faith, Mindset and Performance — On and Off the Field
At 44 Sports Connect, I help athletes grow both in their faith and performance.
Compete with confidence. Respond to challenges. Play with freedom.
The 44 Performance Pathway combines athlete mentoring, practical mental performance tools, and workbook-guided growth—all taught from a Biblical perspective.
Through one-on-one mentoring, team programs, and online small groups, athletes develop the habits, character, and leadership skills they can carry into competition and everyday life.

What Athletes Work On
The workbook brings faith, mental performance, and personal development together through these areas:
-
Identity & Purpose: Understand who you are in Christ and what matters beyond your performance.
-
Kingdom Mindset & Awareness: Recognize your thoughts, emotions, and responses while developing a commitment to growth.
-
Reset & Rest: Practice releasing mistakes, refocusing, and preparing for the next moment.
-
Process Focus & Performance Routines: Focus on what you can control and build routines before, during, and after competition.
-
Self-Discipline & Time Stewardship: Develop consistent habits and make room for faith, training, school, and rest.
-
Renewing the Mind: Use Scripture-based Truth Declarations and intentional thinking to encourage yourself and respond to challenges.
-
Prayer & Mission: Connect daily preparation and competition to a greater purpose.
-
Relationships & Leadership: Build the right team around you and learn to lead yourself and others.
-
God-Given Dreams: Clarify your direction and take purposeful steps toward your goals.
Pray. Prepare. Perform.

Prepare for more than the Next Game.
Athletes spend hours developing their physical skills. Their response to pressure, mistakes, expectations, and adversity needs practice too.
You may recognize some of these challenges:
-
Confidence that rises and falls with results
-
Losing focus under pressure
-
Carrying one mistake into the next play
-
Struggling to stay consistent and disciplined
-
Comparing yourself to other athletes
-
Feeling pressure to prove your worth through performance
The 44 Performance Pathway helps athletes recognize these patterns and practice a more purposeful response.
Bring your identity into your sport. Build your confidence on a foundation deeper than your results.
A Clear Pathway for Growth
Discover Your Starting Point
We begin with a conversation about the athlete’s goals, challenges, faith, and current season. Together, we identify where growth is needed and which format fits best.
Walk the 90-Day- 44 Performance Pathway
Athletes move through a structured workbook with guided conversations, practical exercises, Scripture reflection, and habits to practice between sessions.
Each lesson connects to real situations in training, competition, school, relationships, and life.
Put Growth Into Practice
Athletes build personal routines, reset strategies, and a plan for continued growth. Ongoing mentoring can provide support as new seasons, challenges, and opportunities arise.

Ways to walk the Pathway
One-on-One Athlete Mentoring
Personal guidance shaped around the athlete’s goals, sport, and season.
The 90-day Pathway provides space for honest conversations, workbook activities, accountability, and practical tools athletes can apply throughout the week.
For athletes who want individual attention and support.
Small Groups for Youth, Coaches & Parents
Grow in leadership, character, and connection through guided discussions using Maxwell Leadership books and resources, taught from a Biblical perspective.
Groups provide practical tools to help youth lead themselves and others, coaches strengthen team culture, and parents encourage and guide their athletes.
Team Program
Bring the Pathway to your team through guided sessions and shared workbook activities.
Athletes practice a common language for handling pressure, responding to mistakes, taking responsibility, and supporting teammates. Sessions can support preseason preparation or development throughout the season.
For coaches who want to strengthen leadership, accountability, and team culture.
Service Trips & Retreats
Opportunities for athletes and teams to step away from their regular routines, deepen their faith, and put leadership into action.
Through serving others, shared experiences, and guided reflection, athletes grow in character, strengthen team unity, and connect their God-given gifts to a greater purpose.
Online Preseason Small Groups
Prepare for the season alongside other athletes in a guided, 90-day online group.
Athletes work through the Pathway together, discuss real challenges, and build habits for confidence, focus, discipline, and leadership before competition begins.
For athletes who want structured preparation, connection, and shared accountability.
DISC Assessments
Assessments: Improve communication, collaboration, and self-awareness using the Maxwell DISC Personality Indicator
Faith Put Into Practice
Biblical teaching is woven throughout the Pathway.
Athletes are encouraged to connect Scripture with their identity, preparation, decisions, and response to adversity. Workbook activities include Scripture reflection, prayer, Truth Declarations, and practical application.
The goal is to help athletes live out their faith in the moments that matter—at practice, during competition, and beyond the field.
Guidance Through Every Season
Growth takes repetition, honest reflection, and encouragement.
The Pathway combines:
-
Relationship-driven mentoring
-
Practical mental performance tools
-
A structured athlete workbook
-
Habits to practice between sessions
-
Encouragement and accountability
-
A Biblical foundation for identity, character, and purpose
Develop the person. Prepare the athlete. Equip the leader.
