"Connecting Dreams, Building Leaders, Creating Experiences."

ree

Every great story begins with a calling. For me, it was a sense that the Lord was leading my family and me into a new season — a new assignment that would bring together everything I had learned in life, leadership, and faith.

At the heart of it all was one simple desire:to be a present father and to live out the kind of purpose I wanted my son to see in me.

My son wears #44, the same number I once wore. Every time I see that number on his back, I’m reminded of why this journey began — and why it still matters today.

A Step of Faith

When we made the decision to move to Middle, Tennessee, I didn’t have a detailed plan. What I did have was faith — a quiet confidence that God was preparing something new.

As the months passed, I continued to pray, listen, and wait on His direction. No doors opened right away, but in that stillness, something began to stir. I started revisiting my old journals — pages filled with prayers, dreams, and words that had been spoken over me years before.

I was reminded of something powerful people had told me long ago:that one day I would teach young people how to fight.

Not a physical fight — but the kind that really matters. The fight to live with purpose. The fight to serve God faithfully. The fight to make a difference in the world.

That’s when I began to see it — the vision for 44 Sports Connect.

The Vision Comes Into Focus

As God began to shape the idea in my heart, I saw that the tip of the arrow of this new assignment was Mental Performance and Leadership Development for athletes, coaches, and parents.

The more I prayed and reflected, the clearer it became: the same principles that help athletes perform at the highest level — motivation, commitment, focus, awareness, self-control, discipline — are the same truths that help people live meaningful, faith-filled lives.

And all of those principles? They are rooted in Biblical truth.

That’s what 44 Sports Connect is built on — helping others strengthen their mindset and leadership through the timeless, God-given principles that create success both on and off the field.

Sports as a Tool for Purpose

Sports have always been an incredible teacher. They reveal character, test perseverance, and develop discipline. But even more than that, sports give us a platform to teach life lessons — lessons about faith, teamwork, humility, and resilience.

Through 44 Sports Connect, I’ve made it my mission to walk alongside athletes and coaches, helping them uncover not only how to perform at their best but how to discover who they truly are — the identity that God gave them.

Because the truth is, your worth doesn’t come from your performance — it comes from your Creator.

A Life of Preparation

When I look back on my life, I can see how every season was preparing me for this.

I’ve served as a Pastor and Non-Profit President, organizing more than 60 international and domestic service trips. I owned a stand-up paddle company, teaching people to face their fears on the water. And I spent seven years in Executive Protection, serving high-profile clients in the entertainment industry.

Each of those experiences taught me about courage, leadership, and service — all of which now fuel the mission of 44 Sports Connect.

Why #44 Matters

That number on my son’s back — #44 — has become a symbol of faith, legacy, and purpose. It represents the values I want to pass on: commitment, strength, and a willingness to follow God’s call, no matter where it leads.

Every time I see him step onto the field, I’m reminded that this isn’t just about building better athletes — it’s about raising up the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and difference-makers.

Connecting Faith, Purpose, and Performance

Today, through 44 Sports Connect, I help athletes, coaches, and parents develop the mindset and leadership tools to perform with confidence — and to live with purpose.

My passion is to walk alongside others, helping them discover their identity in Christ and the dreams that God has placed inside them.

Because when faith meets focus, and purpose meets preparation, everything changes. That’s when you find your why. That’s when you find who you were created to be.

When it comes to success — both in sports and in life — one truth stands above the rest: consistency wins.

Every champion, every elite performer, and every success story you admire was built through consistent daily habits and mental discipline. The secret isn’t just working hard once in a while; it’s about showing up every day and doing the small things that compound into big results over time.

1. Keep Moving Forward — Even When It’s Hard

There will be days when progress feels slow or motivation runs low. But those are often the moments right before a breakthrough.

Mental performance is all about learning to push through discomfort, trusting the process, and continuing to do the things that matter — even when it’s not easy.

If you want long-term success, make this your mantra:

“Just keep moving forward.”

2. Build a Success Checklist

To stay consistent, create a simple success checklist of 3–5 key actions that keep you on track with your goals.

✅ Train with purpose✅ Fuel your body right✅ Visualize success✅ Reflect and reset daily✅ Stay accountable

These small, intentional habits build momentum — and momentum builds confidence.

3. The Power of Accountability and Coaching

Accountability is what separates those who dream from those who achieve. A sports performance coach or mentor can help you stay disciplined, focused, and aligned with your goals.

At 44 Sports Connect, we believe accountability is the bridge between goals and results. Having a coach ensures that when motivation fades, your consistency stays strong.

4. Thrive On and Off the Field

Our mission at 44 Sports Connect is to help the next generation of athletes develop mental strength, consistency, and character that lasts beyond the game.

Whether you’re chasing a championship, a scholarship, or personal growth, remember:

Consistency isn’t glamorous — but it’s what builds greatness.

🔑 Key Takeaway

Consistency wins. Do the little things daily. Stay accountable. And never stop moving forward.
